The business focuses on providing comfortable accommodation, efficient guest services, and smooth day-to-day operations. We are seeking an experienced Hotel or Motel Manager to oversee operations and ensure consistent service standards.

About the Role
The Hotel or Motel Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the motel, including guest services, staff supervision, bookings, financial oversight, and property maintenance coordination. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage operational workflows efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* 1. Manage daily motel operations, including front office, housekeeping coordination, and guest services.
* 2. Oversee reservations, check‑ins, check‑outs, and booking system management.
* 3. Supervise and schedule staff, ensuring adequate coverage and performance standards.
* 4. Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
* 5. Monitor operational costs, budgets, and revenue performance.
* 6. Maintain accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation.
* 7. Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and supplier services.
* 8. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
* 9. Implement and maintain service standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
* 10. Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and occupancy optimisation where required.
Skills & Experience
* 1. Qualification in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 2. One‑to‑two years of experience in hotel or motel management or supervisory roles.
* 3. Strong understanding of accommodation operations and guest service standards.
* 4. Ability to manage staff, rosters, and operational priorities.
* 5. Sound financial and budgeting skills relevant to motel operations.
* 6. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
* 7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
