Poly Welders
Operate poly welding machines (Dixons, McElroys, Ritmos, Worldpolys, Technodues) from 355mm up to 900mm on the largest HDPE pipeline projects throughout WA.
Install HDPE pipelines, dewatering systems, valves, tees, bends, and reducers.
Perform tie‐in welds and complete complex welds under pressure.
Competent in use of extrusion welding.
Set up, calibrate, and record weld parameters to QA standards.
Interpret drawings, work independently, and complete safety paperwork.
Experience with bore sinking and dewatering (desirable).
Mobile Plant Operator
Competent operating one or more of the following machines in a civil environment: Excavator, Loader, Skid steer, Telehandler, Dozer and Grader.
Final Trim and GPS experience – (desirable).
Using mobile plant for HDPE pipe installations and dewatering networks, trenching, slinging HDPE pipe into trenches, unloading trucks, minor earthworks.
Experience in large scale earthworks & construction.
Skills & Experience
* 3 years experience as a poly welder or mobile plant operator in the civil construction industry.
* Hold nationally accredited plant operating or poly welding tickets.
* Extensive knowledge of HDPE pipe installation and experience using a range of welding machines such as Dixon, McElroy, Ritmo.
* HR License (or higher) – Preferable.
* BHP, FMG, RIO and Roy Hill inductions (desirable).
