We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to join our team as a Phlebotomist.
Job Description
As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in the collection and transportation of patient samples for laboratory testing. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in people's lives by providing quality care and ensuring accurate test results.
Responsibilities
* Collect blood and non-blood samples from patients with care and attention
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of all samples collected and transported
* Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment
* Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing
Requirements
* Experience and knowledge in phlebotomy or a related field
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Organised and able to work autonomously, sometimes independently in a solo clinic
* Valid driver's licence and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
* Working with Children's Check, or willingness to obtain one
* Australian citizen, permanent resident, New Zealand citizen, or valid visa with permission to work
* Required vaccination evidence of Hepatitis B; other location-based vaccinations may apply
