Allied Recruitment is seeking an experienced and results-driven Recruitment Consultant to join our Welshpool team.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in blue-collar labour hire who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting great candidates with great businesses.
You will manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and placing candidates, while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
This is a hands-on role where your recruitment skills directly impact client satisfaction and workforce success.

Key Responsibilities
Candidate Management
Proactively source and screen candidates using a range of platforms, recruitment tools, and sourcing strategies, working alongside a dedicated Recruitment Administrator who supports candidate sourcing and lead generation.
Conduct structured phone screens and in-person registration appointments to assess candidate suitability and complete onboarding.
Perform thorough reference checks to verify skills, reliability, and previous performance.
Ensure all candidates meet compliance requirements, including right-to-work documentation, and are fully briefed on safety protocols and client site expectations.
Coordinate pre-employment medicals, drug and alcohol testing, inductions, and mobilisation logistics where required.
Build and maintain strong candidate relationships to support engagement, availability, and long-term retention.
Client Management and Development
Actively pursue new business opportunities within the blue-collar and industrial sectors through outbound activity and relationship-building initiatives.
Build and nurture existing long-term client relationships by delivering responsive, reliable, and high-quality service.
Develop a deep understanding of client recruitment needs, workforce challenges, and business goals to provide tailored staffing solutions.
Maintain regular communication with key accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and identify future workforce needs.

About You
Previous experience in blue-collar labour hire or industrial recruitment.
Strong interpersonal skills and a confident phone manner.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workload, and meet deadlines.
High attention to detail and ability to work autonomously.
A current Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.
A positive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic.

Experience as a Recruitment Consultant within the blue-collar industry is required.
Candidates must have unrestricted working rights in Australia (minimum of two years).
