An exciting opportunity has been created within a well known Australian FMCG manufacturing business for a commercially minded Financial Analyst.
Due to continued growth and increasing demand for analytical support, the business is investing in strengthening its FP&A capability. This role will report directly to the CFO and play a critical part in delivering accurate, timely and decision-ready financial insights across the organisation.
The Role:
* Leading monthly Board reporting packs (including commentary and financial storytelling)
* Supporting month-end close processes
* Building and maintaining complex financial models in Excel
* Performing scenario planning and sensitivity analysis across pricing, volume and operations
* Supporting budgeting, reforecasting and long-range planning processes
* Analysing financial and operational data to identify risks, trends and margin implications
* Partnering with stakeholders across sales, operations and supply chain
About You Essential:
* Advanced Excel skills (will be formally tested)
* Strong financial acumen and understanding of core accounting principles
* Ability to build, interrogate and refine financial models
* Clear and confident communication skills
* Proactive, self-directed and commercially minded
Highly regarded:
* FMCG or manufacturing experience
* CA/CPA qualified or working towards
* Exposure to Power BI
* Experience in FP&A, budgeting and forecasting environments
* Demonstrated leadership potential
