_We are seeking a kind, empathetic, and down-to-earth Support Worker to join our Client's team in New Farm._

- The ideal Support Worker will have a keen eye for detail, be able to read the room, and demonstrate honesty, reliability, and initiative._
- This role primarily involves supporting our client with community access._
- Our Client needs his Support Worker to:_
- _Understand LGBTQI perspectives._
- _Have an understanding and ability to support anxiety and mental health conditions._
- _Be fluent in English._
- _Be willing to genuinely get to know them and engage with them._
- _Be able to drive, have their own car, drivers' license and comprehensive insurance._
- **Shifts are available**_: Every Wednesday 11:00am to 2:00pm_
**QSSS hourly rates are Weekday $35.66, Evening $38.30, Night $39.33, Saturday $48.65, Sunday $62.62, Public Holidays $76.38 -**_**(sorry, rate not negotiable).**_
We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions where required, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having the assurance of consistency of **C**lients you support. You have a comprehensive suite of online learning to support you and face to face learnings.

To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
Provide support to our Clients as required
Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be Successful you must **_
Resonate with the role description above
Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Hold NDIS worker screening or yellow card (or willingness to obtain)
Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain
- preferred)
Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
Manual handling experience required
