About the Role
We are seeking a part-time Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team at Port Augusta Hospital, working four days per week. In this role, you will be the welcoming first point of contact for patients, referrers and visitors, helping to create a positive and seamless experience.
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will be responsible for reception duties, appointment scheduling and patient administration, carrying out your work with efficiency, professionalism and care. This position suits someone with strong organisational skills, a genuine commitment to patient service and the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced clinical environment.
About You
* Availability to work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
* Friendly, professional and customer-focused, with a passion for patient care.
* Experience in a fast-paced reception or customer service role, ideally in a medical setting.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask and stay organised.
* Detail-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach to work.
* A team player who supports both patients and colleagues.
* Basic computer skills, with an understanding of medical imaging terminology being a plus.
