Responsibilities
- Lead, promote continuous improvement, develop technical roadmaps, and improve the quality of technical solutions by implementing industry best practices.
- Work closely with technical leaders and product owners to document changes and drive initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with squad members, provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers, and support transitioning to the cloud.
- Lead technical design, architecture, and implementation for new and existing features, providing thought leadership and influencing technology direction across the team.
- Collaborate with peers and help grow capabilities within the squad and across the crew.
- Support a cross-functional, self-managing squad with end-to-end responsibility.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Full-cycle engineering experience: ideation, technical design, build, testing (unit, integration, system), release, and ongoing maintenance.
- Ability to work independently and foster a culture of quality, excellence, and openness.
- Robust problem-solving skills and willingness to think outside the box to solve complex technical problems.
- Ability to translate core business and technical strategies into effective technical implementations.
- Experience leading and championing strategic practice development.
- Collaborates with peers and helps grow capabilities within the squad and across the crew.
- Proven capability to lead and mentor engineers; strong communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Backend development experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework.
- Expertise with Microservices and RESTful API design.
- Frontend development experience with Angular or React.
- Working knowledge of public cloud engineering (Azure/AWS).
- Understanding of solution design and architecture principles.
- Working knowledge of Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines (Team City, Octopus, Git Hub Actions).
- Experience with AI/ML development, prompt engineering, or integrating agentic AI in software development, and/or leading small technical teams.
