Job Description Key Responsibilities
* Lead PolicyCenter implementations, including design, configuration, and customization.
* Guide a development team in Gosu coding, workflow automation, and rule implementation.
* Oversee data conversions, system integrations, and custom enhancements.
* Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate functional requirements into technical solutions.
* Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and mentor junior developers.
* Ensure project delivery meets quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
* Coordinate with QA teams for unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
* Lead integrations between PolicyCenter and internal/external systems using web services/APIs.
* Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and operational guides.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong PolicyCenter expertise (configuration, workflows, business rules).
* Gosu, Java, SQL, XML, Web Services.
* Familiarity with Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jenkins, Maven, Git.
* Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases.
* Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies.
* Excellent team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills.
* Demonstrated deep, hands-on expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter core OOTB functionality and Advanced Product Designer (APD).
* Proven capability to operate in a Development Lead role, with strong conceptual and practical understanding of PolicyCenter architecture and standard frameworks.
* Exposure to ClaimCenter or BillingCenter.
* Experience in large-scale insurance domain projects.
* Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
