Launch APAC is a B2B marketing agency specialising in helping tech companies launch and grow in the APAC market. Founded by a Marketing Director who experienced the challenges our clients face, we are the “boots on the ground” for growing tech companies who do not yet have a team in the region and are wanting to build a pipeline or have a small team that needs support.Both the marketing consulting and event production sides of the business are growing quickly, we are seeking a Marketing Event Manager to work across both sides of the business producing client events and supporting conference sponsors.Role Overview:You will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and managing our events and conferences. Working closely with the Launch APAC team, our clients, vendors and stakeholders. Your role will require exceptional organisational skills, project management, time management, attention to detail and commitment to consistently going above and beyond for our clients and stakeholders.No two days will be the same and our ideal candidate will enjoy rolling with the punches while planning ahead.Key Responsibilities:Bring big ideas to life: Propose creative event concepts that align with client goals and drive engagement. You'll be the go-to for sparking ideas and turning them into beautifully executed experiences.Own the end-to-end event process: From venue sourcing and vendor wrangling to building run sheets and managing budgets, you’ll lead the logistics with precision. We’re looking for someone who can keep the wheels turning behind the scenes while making it all look effortless out front.Problem-solve like a pro: Whether it's a last-minute AV issue or a surprise dietary request, you’ll stay calm, think on your feet and find a solution—always keeping the client experience front of mind.Build and nurture relationships: Manage communications with clients, vendors, and stakeholders with professionalism and warmth. You’ll spot opportunities, pitch new ideas, and manage the proposal and procurement process with confidence.Track the numbers: You’ll be responsible for event budgets, reconciling costs, and reporting back clearly and accurately—no detail too small.Travel-ready: Be prepared to get on the road (or a plane!) across the APAC region to bring events to life. When you’re not on-site, you’ll have the flexibility to work from our South Melbourne office, from home, or a bit of both.Key traits & experience:Experience: Event management and/or Field Marketing experience is a must and B2B tech marketing experience both in agency and vendor environments is highly regarded to understand our clients pain pointsProject Management: Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple events at onceCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levelsAttention to Detail: A keen eye for detail, ensuring that every aspect of the event runs smoothly and meets the highest standardsTeam Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stake holders and awareness of when to ask for help and when to work autonomouslyAdaptability: Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentLocation:We anticipate 20% domestic & international travelWhen not onsite at events you’re welcome to work from home, our South Melbourne office or a combination of bothWhy Join Us?The people: We exclusively hire hard working, lovely people with a sense of humour.
