Findex currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join our Advisor Support Practice in Albury.
This role will be responsible for handling accounting, tax, and advisory matters to achieve the best outcomes for our clients.
This is a permanent, full-time, onsite opportunity based in our Albury office.
What will your typical week look like?
Prepare business advice, special purpose reports, and tax returns for entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, and high-wealth individuals.
Support business advisory projects such as budgets, cash flows, KPI dashboards, management reporting, and virtual CFO roles.
Manage and supervise engagements from start to finish, maintaining documentation and compliance standards.
Assist in client portfolio management, staff training, bookkeeping, liaising with the IRD, and ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality work.

You are someone with…
Experience in public practice, supported by a relevant accounting degree, and ideally working towards or holding a CA/CPA qualification.
Strong technical accounting, analytical, and Excel skills, with hands-on experience with cloud accounting software like Xero and MYOB.
Excellent attention to detail, commercial acumen, and ability to prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
A team player enthusiastic about contributing, building relationships, and engaging with clients and stakeholders.
