**$76,281 - $86,253 pa (plus super and annual pay increases)**

**Your new career**
Our vibrant Visitor Information Centres (VICs) are located at Lorne, Torquay, Anglesea and Winchelsea. They provide an essential service to our many visitors, providing information on places to see, things to do, where to stay and must see local events.

We are currently looking to permanently fill our Team Leader Visitor Information Centre to oversee our Lorne and Winchelsea VICs. We need someone who can help our staff and volunteers ensure our visitors get to see and explore as much of our beautiful coastal delights during their visit in our region as possible.

**About you**
You will be someone who shares our love for this region and wants everyone to see what we have to offer. Through leading a team of staff and volunteers in the operations of the VICs, you will ensure our visitors are provided with high quality customer service and information so that they will have enriched experiences during their stay.

**Key selection criteria**
**Mandatory qualifications and experience**
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the tourism industry for VICs.
- Experience managing annual operational budgets.
- Satisfactory completion of a TAFE accredited/industry based training course or sufficient knowledge and skills gained through on-the-job experience commensurate with the requirements of the position.
- Be able to recommend solutions using knowledge, experience and creative problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of computer packages including Microsoft Office and database programs.
- Ability to provide supervision of other staff and volunteers and provide on-the-job training.
- Well-developed written skills are necessary in assisting with procedural formulation and producing activity reports.
- Highly developed verbal skills and an outgoing personality are required to effectively promote tourism activity to the general public.

The successful applicant will also need to meet the below criteria:

- A current WWCC.
