About the role
You will work alongside the Project Director on complex medium and large scale mixed-use and multi-residential projects from concept design through to completion. You will demonstrate strong management skills across all stages of the project. You enjoy working in a highly collaborative and creative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Project Director on complex medium and large-scale projects, and coordinate and manage expectations with all stakeholders including clients, consultants, contractors, and builders.
* Coordinate and attend client and sub-consultant meetings and report back to the broader Team.
* Manage different project stages including conceptualisation, schematic design, tender, construction documentation, CC and site attendance.
* Effectively convey and communicate design concepts through 2D and 3D drawings for presentations and reports.
* Manage, organise and coordinate complex Revit files for large scale projects.
* Work closely with the Project Director on the analysis of information, production of designs and client presentations.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and graduates, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
* Oversee the production of detailed workings, plans, drawings, schedules and specifications as part of a broader team.
* Participate in design competitions to showcase the firm's creative capabilities and expand the project portfolio.
What you will bring to the team
* 10+ years experience in design and delivery of complex medium and large-scale mixed-use and multi-residential projects (Concept, DA, tender, construction documentation, CC, site attendance).
* Thorough understanding of NCC, Australian Standards, Design and Building Practitioners Act, technical drawings and construction knowledge.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with people skills.
* Architect registration.
