We offer the opportunity to contribute to local and national buildings projects, plus the ability to expand your design skills across other market sectors.Our recent projects span across a range of different sectors including but not limited to defence, transportation, commercial and high-rise developments.Key ResponsibilitiesProject lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects;Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets;Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients;Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally;Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team;Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers;Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting.At WSP, you can access our global scale, contribute to landmark projects and connect with the brightest minds in your field to do the best work of your life. You can experience a world of opportunity and the chance to shape a career as unique as you.Experience & SkillsBachelor to Masters' level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering);RPEQ qualified or close to completionMinimum 8-12 years post graduate industry experienceCommercial experience in Australia or New Zealand on medium/large building structure engineering projects is essential.Exposure across a range of local building sectors, e.g., transport, health, retail, defence;Familiar with ETABS, RAM Concept and MicrostranSolid consultancy experience in a client facing role with ability to lead projectsTrack record of effective cross-discipline project deliveryExperience coaching & mentoring junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.Ability to obtain Australian Defence Force security clearance (Aus Citizenship required) would be preferred but not essentialImagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
