Overview
A high-profile government agency is seeking a SQL Developer to support the business and develop a solution for a collection that provides data wrangling, quality checks, analytics and insights. You will be part of a great team.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust SQL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
- Elicit requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure alignment with SDLC and change management processes.
- Partner with the data modelling team to ensure database designs support analytical and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and manage deployments via Microsoft DevOps.
- Conduct code reviews.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all solutions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, SSIS, SSMS, and Microsoft DevOps.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing strategies, query optimization, and data warehousing techniques.
- Familiarity with data modelling concepts
- Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Knowledge of SDLC, change management, and deployment best practices.
