Overview
We are looking for reliable and motivated persons to join our friendly team as casual Facility and Grounds Officers in Streaky Bay and Elliston.
Responsibilities
The Facility & Grounds Officer is responsible for general facility maintenance associated with the interior and/or exterior of the health unit. Duties may include rubbish collection, minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical and grounds maintenance.
With limited experience in building and grounds maintenance, you will be capable of performing work under general direction and bring the ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools. You will be expected to complete tasks on schedule, adhere to instructions, practices and guidelines, and maintain a sound understanding of Occupational Health Safety & Welfare acts relevant to maintenance.

Qualifications and Requirements
* Limited experience in building and grounds maintenance.
* Ability to use a wide range of hand and power tools.
* Knowledge of Occupational Health Safety & Welfare acts.
* Commitment to timely completion of tasks.
* Provisional skills in minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, mechanical work, and grounds maintenance.
Additional Requirements
* Appointment subject to satisfactory Criminal History Check.
* National Police Certificate (NPC) required for unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.
* Immunisation requirements – Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances).
