About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Practice Manager to lead the daily operations of our growing clinic. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth administrative and clinical workflows while fostering a positive and high-performing team culture.
Key responsibilities include:
* Overseeing day-to-day practice operations
* Leading, mentoring and supporting reception staff
* Managing rostering, recruitment, onboarding and performance processes
* Overseeing financial performance, reporting, and budget management
* Managing supplier relationships, contracts, and service agreements
* Supporting doctors to optimise clinic efficiency
* Implementing and improving systems, policies, and procedures
* Maintaining compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and accreditation standards
About You
* Previous experience as a Practice Manager or in a senior medical administration role
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Solid understanding of Medicare billing, WorkCover and private health processes
* A proactive mindset with the ability to problem-solve and implement improvements
* Experience using Apple computers is highly regarded
* Experience in sports medicine, orthopaedics, or a specialist medical setting will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
