About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team on a full time basis. Reporting to the Accounts and Finance Manager you will be responsible for processing daily transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and general office duties.

Key Responsibilities

* Process and manage supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies
* Prepare weekly creditor payment runs
* Process weekly payroll
* Follow up accounts receivables for overdue payments
* Process bank and credit card reconciliations
* Assist with end-of-month processes, including account reconciliations and reporting
* Responding to customer account inquiries
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and resolve invoice or payment queries
* Support the wider finance team with general finance administration tasks as required

About You

* 2 years experience in Accounts Payable or Finance
* Experience using MYOB
* Strong organisational skills and high attention to detail
* Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a good understanding of accounting principles
