Job Description
* Design, develop, and maintain full‐stack web applications using typescript
* Build responsive and interactive front‐end features using modern React frameworks
* Develop and maintain backend services and using APIs and Node.js
* Work with cloud-native architectures and services, primarily on AWS
* Contribute to Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
* Ensure application performance, security, and scalability, particularly when handling large imagery datasets and spatial data
* Write clean, maintainable, and testable code aligned with best practices
* Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and technical discussions
* Collaborate effectively within a cross‐functional Agile team
The Successful Applicant
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
* 3yearsfront‐end development experience using:
o JavaScript / TypeScript
o React
* 3 yearsofBackend development experience, including:
o API development
o Node.JS
* Exposure to best practices, including:
o Automated testing
o CI/CD pipelines
o Peer code reviews
o Agile methodologies
* Understanding of software quality, testing, and maintainability
* Strong problem‐solving skills and willingness to learn
* Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
* Right to work in Australia
* Experience using Jira or similar tools for Agile project management
