The Opportunity
BlueScope Building Components is looking for an Account Manager to join our regional branch in Toowoomba, QLD. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
What Will You Do?
* Execute customer call planning cycles.
* Develop and implement market plans and strategies.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to fulfil customer needs.
* Service existing customer base and grow new client base with proactive selling.
* Monitor customer activity and market conditions for further opportunities and/or risks.
You will look after a geographic territory that encompasses Toowoomba and South West Queensland. This will require infrequent and overnight travel depending on how you plan your call and visit cycle.
More About You
* Previous experience in home improvement or a related field preferred.
* Understanding of ERP systems & software tools for design and project management.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
