We’re searching for a Gaming Team Leader to join our team on a part-time basis and work alongside our Gaming Leadership Team, bringing a strong focus on service, compliance, and operational excellence to our gaming floor. Here you’ll play a pivotal role in making every visit a memorable one for our members and guests, ensuring they enjoy a welcoming, market leading, entertaining, and socially responsible gaming experience.
What’s the gig? As Gaming Team Leader, you’ll lead by example, overseeing daily gaming operations from administration to staff supervision and training. You’ll inspire your team to meet service KPIs by bringing our Gaming Focus Items to life. With your commitment to customer-first service, you’ll engage and support our team in setting and reaching departmental goals, and achieving a consistently brilliant gaming experience
Here’s a taste of what you’ll do:
Deliver Quality Experience: Ensure the gaming area is comfortable, clean, and enjoyable Lead the team to uphold our focus items and service standards, connecting with members, resolving or escalating issues as needed, while maintaining professionalism in every interaction.
Lead and Train: Provide coaching and mentorship to our Gaming Team, conducting buddy training for new employees and supporting them in growing their skills.
Support Operations: Oversee essential processes such as paging systems, gaming machine troubleshooting, Keno management, and floor changes.
Administrative Oversight: Complete shift reports, assist with managing supplies, and team communication to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
Compliance and Safety: Monitor Responsible Conduct of Gambling and Responsible Service of Alcohol practices, ensure the team is aware of any gPOM changes, maintain compliance signage and adhere to WHS standards.
Collaborative Leadership – Gaming Excellence: Work with the Gaming Manager and Gaming Team Leaders to achieve the Gaming Business Unit goals.
Experience and certification:
Gaming experience: 3+ years
Ebet gaming system experience (desirable)
Current RSA/RCG competency card
Current ARCG competency
RGO competency (desirable)
