Elderly Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic aged care team at Point Vernon Aged Care Residence. This part-time role (67 hours per fortnight) offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly residents, providing high-quality nursing care and supporting our commitment to person-centred care.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive nursing care to our elderly residents, including medication management, wound care, and monitoring of health conditions
* Assessing and developing individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
* Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless and coordinated care delivery
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, in accordance with regulatory requirements
* Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our nursing practices and aged care services
* Promoting a positive and supportive environment for our residents, families, and the broader care team
What we're looking for
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an aged care or similar healthcare setting
* Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
* Commitment to person-centred care and a passion for improving the lives of the elderly
* Proficiency in relevant software applications and documentation processes
