You will also continue to deliver high quality interventions for clients presenting with depression and anxiety, and maintain a diverse case load.
You need to be interested in learning and delivering Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), a strongly evidence-based trauma therapy with over 30 years of research backing. At the Centre for Clinical Psychology, we have trained over 900 mental health professionals in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD – we know trauma therapy.
The Centre for Clinical Psychology has a strong clinical governance framework. We also provide a high level of professional administrative and practice management support. We understand how important clinician wellbeing is, and we strive to create a culture that supports self-care and sustainable practice.
THE ROLE:
This role includes training and professional development to become an accredited provider in Cognitive Processing Therapy, you will receive a generous package of training and supervision to support your growth and clinical confidence:
* Two days of CPT training for trauma therapy
* Two days of Schema Therapy training
* Weekly CPT/trauma group supervision
* Individual supervision for trauma and non-trauma cases
* Support to obtain CPT Provider Status
* 13 hours+ of online training
* Access to our online library of webinars and professional development. (We host regular online training for mental health professionals on a range of current topics in mental health)
This supervision / training package has a total value of $23,000 * (Based on a full-time registrar, 40 hours of supervision over 2 years).
The role is an employed position with the option to work Saturdays (paid at time and a half). The successful candidate will work from our offices in Carlton, a convenient location with easy access to public transport.
Remuneration is based on experience and is above award.
For registered supervisors, there are also opportunities to provide supervision and be supported to extend your skills.
