What You Will Do
* Work on current and upcoming commercial, civil, and infrastructure projects across the North West Coast (including areas like Devonport, Burnie, and Ulverstone).
* Read and interpret detailed engineering plans and drawings.
* Cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel to form concrete structures, ensuring all work meets Australian Standards.
* Collaborate closely with formworkers, concretors, and site supervisors.
* Maintain an absolute commitment to site safety procedures and quality workmanship.

What You Need to Bring
* Proven experience as a Steelfixer in the construction industry.
* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and rebar lists accurately.
* Construction Industry White Card (mandatory).
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport.
* A strong work ethic, high reliability, and pride in producing quality work.
* Commitment to working effectively in a team environment.
* Ability to successfully pass a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
