As a Data Scientist within the Chief Operations Office (COO) Data Science team, you will contribute to the development and management of AI models supporting the Chief Operations Office of the bank. This role involves designing and developing cutting edge AI solutions to uplift operation efficiency and customer experience. You will work closely with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams within COO Data Science and COO business stakeholders to ensure best customer and business outcomes. You will come with a strong business acumen along with demonstrable experience in using statistics and machine learning and will be part of a high-performing team that concentrates on data models to solve data science problems. Responsibilities Contribute to the development and management of AI models supporting COO stakeholders Design and develop AI solutions to uplift operation efficiency and customer experience Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure positive customer and business outcomes Leverage statistics and machine learning to solve data science problems within a commercial context Qualifications & Attributes Strong business acumen with demonstrable experience in statistics and machine learning Experience working in a high-performing data science team Ability to work with data models to solve data science problems Collaborative, curious, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders Tech skills Foundations in statistical modelling, data science, ML models and Gen AI Experience developing and deploying AI/data science solutions including generative AI, NLP, reinforcement learning Coding skills to implement ML models (R, Python, PySpark, SQL; AWS/Azure) Strong data wrangling and large data manipulation skills PM and presentation skills to communicate timelines and progress Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field Working with us We support a culture of inclusion and flexibility, with options for hybrid work and varied start/finish times, part-time arrangements, and job sharing.
