They are currently seeking to appoint a commercially savvy Operations Manager to their management team who will embrace the values of the business and support their continued growth.ABOUT THE ROLEAs part of the management team and reporting to the Directors, your role will be primarily focused on the leadership and operational management of their ground maintenance and industrial services divisions.
Work undertaken encompasses greenspace & field services to earthworks, demolition, soil remediation and asbestos removal.
You will take responsibility for all aspects of the operations, including the following.Overseeing Daily Operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency including scheduling employees daily work tasks across two divisionsTeam Management including supervising staff, resolution of escalated issues, and providing training - ensuring all have required certificationsMeet with Clients & teams on site to address any concerns and organise suppliers or services needed to complete work on scheduleIdentify New Opportunities and complete quotes, pricing and customer liaison and being the face of the businessMonitor Necessary Documents are prepared for employees work tasks including but not limited to SWMS, control plans and notificationsProcess Improvement to identify inefficiencies and implement solutions for better productivityInventory & Supply Chain Management by monitoring of stock levels to ensure supply of PPE for workers and jobsMaintenance of WHS Management System to ensure compliance with ISO accreditationsSKILLS & EXPERIENCETo be considered for this role, you will bring.Experience leading and/or supervising teams and have the motivation to contribute to the financial success of the companyIdeally knowledge of field services coordination and be able to work independently while making logical commercial decisionsProblem-solving skills, be solutions focused and able to address operational issues quickly and effectively while under pressureStrong organisational skills with a great 'can-do' attitude, able to learn & adapt quicklyBENEFITSThis is a genuine opportunity for a committed and dedicated person to join a growing organisation and become a pillar of the business.
