The role of Finance Business Partnerwill be responsible for finance business partnering including providing commercial advice, direction and support to drive operations to meet performance targets (financial and non-financial), specifically within ourAged Careportfolio. You will work with the leaders to complete the planning, and forecasting processes, operational analysis, strategic advice, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver operational and organisational requirements.
Please note, this is a full time, 9 month contract opportunity with flexible working options on offer.
Your part in our UnitingCare team
Partner with the project teams and finance business partnering manager to provide decision support, planning, formulation, implementation and execution of business plans.
Development of financial and analytical models to support strategic objectives.
Completing business cases for new service models, technologies and capital investment including scenario modelling, and making recommendations.
Proactively monitor delivery of projects against agreed strategies to deliver targets (both at Board level and within operations).
Analyse past performance and forecast future demand and results.
Review the regular performance reports with the GM and support business review providing accurate and insightful analysis of key trends, performance indicators and operational impacts / opportunities.
Develop/maintain financial/non-financial models for key business drivers to facilitate improved financial performance and promote decision making (on UCQ Finance agreed platforms) as required.
What makes a difference for us?
Demonstrated ability to understand complex business problems and opportunities in a residential aged care business environment and develop solutions that enable the organisation to achieve its goals based on thorough financial and operational planning and analysis
Proven experience in a business partnering role or as a performance analyst, focused on improving business in a medium to large organisation
Excellent communication and engagement skills and ability to balance provision of support, advice and direction appropriately to non-financial managers
Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Business or a related field
Highly developed commercial, analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills including comprehensive financial and analysis skills.
Prior experience in business finance analysis to support multifaceted business cases and issues
Sound finance and accounting competency with knowledge and understanding of accounting requirements and legislation relevant to work environment. Advanced understanding of financial statement relationships
