Fire Protection Carpenter – Passive Fire Protection

About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced carpenter with knowledge of fire and smoke door systems and general carpentry. You'll be working across a variety of sites, carrying out repairs, maintenance, inspections, and installations in line with Australian Standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Repairs and maintenance of fire, smoke, and non-fire-rated doors
* Installation and replacement of fire, smoke, and other non-rated door sets
* Installation of steel door frames
* Upgrades and rectification works to ensure compliance
* Installation of lightweight fire-rated walls, ceilings, and structural steel cladding
* Fire and smoke door inspections in accordance withAS1851-2012
* Accurate reporting and documentation of works completed
* Liaising with clients and site representatives professionally
Skills & Experience Required
* Trade-qualified Carpenter (essential)
* Proven experience working with fire and/or smoke doors (highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards, includingAS1851-2012 and AS1905.1
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Current Manual Driver's Licence
