We're excited to welcome a General Manager - Community and Preventive Health and Facilities to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
The role works collaboratively with executive and clinical leadership team members, across CPH and Facilities to fulfil the accountabilities in accordance with Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service vision, values, and strategic direction and engages with other internal and external partners to build relationships.
This position promotes and nurtures a culture of excellence in standards, practice, quality improvement, policy reform, ongoing education, learning and workforce planning. This position works collaboratively as a member of an interprofessional Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service executive team to develop innovative ways to deliver efficient, high quality patient centred care and achieve key performance outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:
Acts as a collaborative partner with Hospital and Health Service Executive in the planning and delivery of health services with the associated budgetary accountabilities.
Responsible for ensuring professional reporting / supervision is in place for all employees within Community and Preventive Health and Facilities across the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.
Responsible for the leadership, governance, operational and performance management of clinical services and provide timely and accurate reporting with a focus on KPI's and outcomes for CPH and Facilities.
Provide high level advice to the Chief Operating Officer, Health Service Chief Executive and the Hospital and Health Board on major operational issues and report on performance results as required.
