These supports are most suitable to individuals who can work flexibly across a 24/7 roster.
Ability to work sleepovers is REQUIRED. Key Responsibilities Assisting clients through personal care (such as bathing, shaving, and toileting), manual handlingProvide behavioural support for clients with significant behaviours of concern and high medical needsPlay a vital role in uplifting individuals facing mental health challenges and disability, empowering them to reach their full potential and enhance their overall well-beingDemonstrate the ability to follow person centred support plans whilst maintaining flexibility to the circumstances and preferences of each client you supportTrack and document the changing needs of clients through thorough record-keepingAdvocate for client choice and control in a safe and compliant manner, while supporting them to actively engage and create a sense of belonging within their communitySkills & Experience Experience with behaviours of concern and mental health supports requiredA current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011A current Mental Health First Aid Certificate highly regardedAn unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicleCommitted to work flexible work hours across the week, including public holidaysDemonstrated ability to use basic technology and software on a mobile and desktopSuccessful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including but not limited to a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
