What's the role? We are currently looking for an experienced Boiler Maker to join our team in Port Hedland. The main focus of this role will be helping keep our modern fleet of prime movers, earthmoving equipment and all mechanical equipment operational and serviced, maintained and repaired as needed in accordance with site requirements. Based in Port Hedland Full-time, fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) positions 2-on/1-off roster – 7 days, 7 nights, 7 days off Accommodation, meals & flights provided Competitive hourly rates super on all hours Opportunity to work with industry leading equipment & facilities Ongoing development opportunities for career growth Commitment to a “BeSafe” workplace Commitment to promoting workplace diversity & inclusivity Specific Responsibilities: Carry out truck and trailer scheduled servicing, maintenance and inspections Maintain fleet paper trail on servicing, maintenance and repairs Carry out repairs as directed and parts change outs Attend fleet roadside breakdowns Communicate effectively with drivers and plant operators Order parts using order numbers and listed suppliers Maintenance of company vehicles and mechanical aids i maintenance schedule and operating manuals/procedures. Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services.
