Location: Nowra, New South Wales, Shoalhaven Water Flinders Depot
* Permanent / Full Time
* Salary: $99,775 - $113,318 gross p.a. plus 12% Super
* 38 hours per week (Monday to Sunday) with a 9-day fortnight
* Leaseback available
* Location: Shoalhaven Water Flinders Depot
Responsibilities
This role will supervise, monitor and control the operations and maintenance of the Shoalhaven Water Distribution System.
* Supporting and managing the day to day operations of the Water Distribution Team staff, finances and assets.
* Ensure processes, systems and protocols are in place for the Water Distribution Operations compliance with all relevant legislation and Council policies.
* Ensure all operational and maintenance risks are managed in accordance with Council's enterprise risk management system.
* Being available to be on call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Water Industry (i.e. Civil Engineering or Water/Wastewater Engineering) or relevant discipline/experience
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* Current NSW SafeWork First Aid Certificate.
* Current National WHS Construction Card (SafeWork NSW).
* Current SafeWork NSW Confined Spaces Entry Certificate.
* Asbestos Licence for removal of >10 sq meters
* DPI – Water Treatment for Engineers
* Fluoridation Plant Operators TAFE Certificate (or must obtain within 12 months).
* Must be willing to work on call.
* Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
