We are pleased to be partnering with Horizon Power to recruit an experienced Battery & Solar Electrical Compliance Inspector to join their Esperance team. This position plays a critical role in supporting the safety, compliance, and reliability of electrical installations across regional Western Australia.

The Opportunity
Based in Esperance, this role is responsible for inspecting electrical, solar and battery installations, ensuring compliance with Western Australian regulations, Australian Standards and Horizon Power's approved Inspection System Plan (ISP).
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting inspections of consumer electrical, battery and solar installations
Capturing and uploading inspection data, photographs and reports using an iPad in real time
Leading investigations into serious electrical incidents, shocks, fires and regulatory breaches
Providing professional and impartial compliance advice to electrical contractors
Supporting continuous improvement in electrical safety across the region
The position includes occasional short periods of regional travel.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
A current WA Electrical Worker's Licence (mandatory)
Eligibility for designation as an Electrical Inspector (Electrical)
Strong understanding of relevant legislation, Australian Standards and compliance requirements
Experience in solar and battery installation, testing and verification (or willingness to undertake further training)
High digital proficiency, particularly using iPads for field‑based reporting
A strong commitment to safety, professionalism and stakeholder engagement
Full AU working rights
WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'C-A' is essential, Remote 4-Wheel Driving Certificate is desirable
