High School Music Teacher and Assistant to Head of Extra-Curricular Music
We are seeking an accomplished educator to fill the role of High School Music Teacher and Assistant to the Head of Extra-Curricular Music.
As a High School Music Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching the Music curriculum across High School (including Stage 6) and conducting vocal ensembles and choirs. You will also play a key role in coordinating our vibrant extra-curricular music program.
* Teaching Music curriculum across High School (including Stage 6)
* Conducting vocal ensembles and choirs
* Coordinating extra-curricular music program
Key Responsibilities:
* Stage Managing equipment, rehearsal schedules and students
* Attending events, managing external performances
* Building connections with other schools for collaborative events
Qualifications and Experience:
• Significant experience teaching Music to Stage 6 level
• Strong familiarity with NESA Music syllabuses to Stage 6 level
• Relevant degree and teaching qualifications, Accreditation with NESA and valid Working With Children Check
* Expertise in conducting vocal ensembles and choirs, knowledge of choral pedagogy
* Experience in coordinating music events, ensembles and choirs
