An established specialist medical practice is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join their dedicated support team. Available in both full-time and part-time capacities, this role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage practice workflows, coordinate patient care, and provide essential day-to-day support to medical specialists.
Requirement
* Must be an Australian Citizen.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Secretary within a specialist medical practice.
* Strong knowledge of specialist practice workflows, referrals, and medical correspondence.
* Experience utilizing medical software such as Genie, Gentu, MedicalDirector, Best Practice, Blue Chip, Shexie, or Clinic to Cloud.
* High attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
* Ability to commit to a minimum of 12 months in the role.

* Processing incoming referrals, medical reports, and clinical correspondence.
* Liaising professionally with patients, GPs, specialists, hospitals, and allied health providers.
* Handling daily phone and email enquiries while maintaining patient records and strict confidentiality.
* Assisting with billing, invoicing, and general practice administration.
* Providing comprehensive day-to-day administrative support to the medical specialists.
