RD Jones Group is a growing family‐owned hospitality business operating for over 40 years.
We are seeking a full‐time Finance Officer and/or Accountant to join the Finance Department. Reporting to the CFO, this role will perform end‐to‐end accounts work for designated entities and play a key role in the administrative duties of the finance department.
About the role
* Core finance functions of designated entities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliations
* Processing end‐of‐month accounts, including understanding how to read and prepare Profit and Loss Statements
* Timely and accurate preparation of BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation
* Produce spreadsheets and other workpapers as required to support analytical and ad‐hoc enquiries
* Assist with reporting requirements such as report construction, report maintenance and updates
About you

* Finance related qualification or equivalent experience
* High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to establish rapport with a wide range of people
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to strict timelines
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Experience in hotel administration procedures advantageous
