Job Title: Regional Customer Service Officer
About the Role:
You will be able to contribute to our company's growth and profitability by providing high standards of customer service and performing administrative functions through efficient and cost-effective provision of services to distributors and end-user customers.
As a crucial part of the team, you will liaise with various internal departments (dispatch, sales) and key external stakeholders including, customers, fertilizer distributors, and sales agents, service contractors, suppliers, and fertilizer road transport companies.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
* Support credit client administration (invoicing, banking, reporting).
* Evaluate communication and liaison with accounts departments.
* Coordinate scheduling and dispatching of customer products.
* Provide professional service to regional/area managers and customers, supplying information on all administration and marketing programs.
* Manage intake stock and customer intake forecasts in collaboration with the sales team.
* Record bulk waste and contractor hours accurately.
* Ensure product availability coordination with sales and operations teams.
* Prioritize safety for yourself and others in your daily practices.
Requirements:
* A background in customer service with a high level of integrity.
* Excellent phone manner and overall communication skills.
* High attention to detail and ability to work unsupervised.
* Flexibility to work on rotating shifts including early starts, late finishes, and occasional Saturday shifts.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
* Experience using computerized sales systems and proficiency in MS Office applications.
* Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Capacity to handle high volumes of work and challenging situations effectively.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical check, including a drug and alcohol test.
* Adaptability to a flexible work environment.
