Asset Performance Manager

The Asset Manager plays a critical role in the success of our renewable energy portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Asset Management, you will be responsible for delivering high asset performance targets through effective management of asset budgets and contracts.

Main Responsibilities:

* Deliver allocated asset performance targets by managing asset budgets and contracts;
* Provide regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders on WHS, performance, commercial, market interactions, and compliance;
* Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including suppliers, community members, regulatory bodies, and landholders;
* Support tendering and negotiation of equipment warranties and service agreements as renewals fall due;
* Analyse and address technical issues, applying sound knowledge of root cause analysis techniques;
* Monitor and report on daily asset performance, working closely with O&M contractors to prioritise and address any issues;
* Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders based on operational data analysis;
* Liaise with finance, legal, and technical stakeholders to ensure delivery of asset outcomes;
* Ensure optimum operations while maintaining NER compliance;
* Manage statutory and compliance matters related to technical aspects of operational plants.

This is a senior-level position requiring experience in managing complex service agreements and assets in the renewable energy sector. A strong understanding of Australian electricity regulations and requirements, including NER compliance, is essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, and able to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

* A recognised qualification in engineering, business, or a relevant field;
* At least 2 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, preferably in wind or utility-scale solar;
* Experience in managing complex services agreements;
* Knowledge of asset life maintenance planning and balancing reliability-based maintenance with cost management;
* Sound knowledge of Australian electricity regulations and requirements;
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
