Occupational Expertise Specialist Job Description
The specialist will assist individuals to regain meaningful engagement in daily activities, evaluate treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers, identify future career options and perform various assessments based on clinical expertise.
* Evaluating the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in work-related or non-work-related injury or illness.
* Helping clients to identify potential career paths by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests.
* Performing a variety of assessments including functional capacity evaluations, worksite assessments, ergonomic evaluations and activities of daily living assessments.
* Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return to work goal.
