Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrator to join our dynamic legal team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in managing documents, supporting legal processes, and ensuring seamless operations.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be proficient in MS Office suite and legal software applications. They will also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Manage legal files and document organization using WKase and iManage systems
* Draft, file, and serve legal documents and correspondence across ACT and NSW jurisdictions
* Coordinate court-related tasks, including subpoenas, settlement documents, and compliance follow-ups
* Liaise with clients, external firms, and internal teams to support legal processes and agency work
* Assist with billing, invoicing, and financial record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
* Perform conflict checks, client onboarding, and maintain billing and trust account records
* Support senior lawyers with expense management, travel arrangements, and general administrative tasks
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a legal administrator or in a similar role
* Familiarity with legal billing processes and systems
* Proficiency in MS Office suite and legal software applications
