Job Description
We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a VET Construction Teacher. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs and achieving specific student outcomes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver engaging lessons on VET Construction topics, including construction methods, materials, and safety procedures.
* Evaluate student learning and provide constructive feedback to improve their understanding and skills.
* Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans, assessments, and reports to meet the needs of students.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies and priorities.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results.
Requirements:
* Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
* A degree in education or a related field, with a strong understanding of VET Construction principles and practices.
* Experience in teaching VET subjects, preferably in a secondary school setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
* Ability to use technology, including digital tools and software, to support teaching and learning.
