About the Role
The Warehouse Operator role is a Full‑time position, based at Balcatta, WA. Reporting to the Store Manager you will join our Gyprock Trade Centre delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the store and warehouse.
In This Role You Will
* Provide exceptional customer service for all our customers in store and in the warehouse.
* Stock movements and the maintenance of stock.
* Loading trucks with customer orders for distribution and comply with safety requirements.
* Unloading inbound orders of stock.
* Serving customers in the warehouse part of the store, e.g. loading customers vehicles with a forklift, or manually as required.
* Ensuring documentation, labelling and presentation of product is adhered to.
* Warehouse operations including picking orders, inventory counts and general housekeeping.
* Contributes to achievement of store revenue and margin budgets.
Your working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 4:00pm, plus every third Saturday from 7:00am to 12:00pm (paid as overtime). You may be required to work as close by stores from time to time.

* Computer literacy and/or familiarity with POS systems will be highly regarded.
* Must have excellent customer service & communication skills.
* Must be confident and well‑presented when dealing with customers.
* Experience working in a fast paced and busy environment.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and deadlines.
* Forklift licence is essential.
