On a mission to build a cleaner, greener future for Tasmania and we are looking for an energetic, community‐minded Events & Partnerships Manager to bring that vision to life through meaningful partnerships, memorable events, and impactful community engagement.
TasRecycle is a not‐for‐profit entity, tasked with administering Tasmania's Container Refund Scheme, "Recycle Rewards". We are dedicated to building the circular economy for beverage containers and reducing litter.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow the understanding and support for the scheme, uncover opportunities for charities and community groups, and champion Australia's circular economy. If bringing people together, building relationships, and creating experiences that make a real difference motivate you this could be your perfect next step.
In this role you will develop and deliver partnerships with brands, businesses, and influencers, while leading events and statewide activations that bring the Recycle Rewards brand to life. You will drive community engagement with schools, local groups, and diverse communities, and manage the contracts, budgets, assets, and reporting that support these initiatives.
About you:
You bring creativity, strong stakeholder skills, community‐minded energy, and experience in partnerships and / or engagement. You are organised, collaborative, and passionate about making a positive impact.
Role essentials:
* Driver's licence
* Working with vulnerable people registration (or ability to obtain)
* Statewide travel & some after‐hours events
