Overview
Serco is seeking a Customer Service Officer – Reception at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Murdoch, Western Australia. This is a part time role (2 shifts per week, Monday – Friday) with a pay rate of $34.43 per hour plus super.
You must be fully flexible to work various shift times which will include: 7:00am – 3:00pm, 8:00am – 4:00pm, 9:00am – 5:00pm, 10:00am – 6:00pm, 12:00pm – 8:00pm.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients, visitors and staff at hospital reception desks
Provide clear and courteous directions and information about hospital facilities and services
Manage visitor access and ensure security requirements are met
Handle enquiries in person, over the phone and via email with professionalism and empathy
Support hospital operations by following established procedures and escalation processes
Collaborate with colleagues across Facility Management to provide an exceptional experience
Requirements / Qualifications
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
A calm and professional approach during high-pressure or sensitive situations
Previous experience in a front desk, reception or customer-facing role
High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable: experience in healthcare, hospitality or call centre environment
