The role
As a Senior Analyst, Risk Advisory, you'll play a key role in strengthening how operational and conduct risk is identified, understood, and managed across the business. Working closely with senior risk leaders, you'll provide second-line oversight, support major change initiatives, and help uplift risk maturity across Line 1.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys translating risk data into clear insights, partnering with stakeholders, and contributing to meaningful improvements in risk practices within a fast-moving financial services environment.
Position Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
* Support Line 2 risk oversight across business initiatives and change activities.
* Analyse risk incidents and issues, trends, and data to identify insights and emerging risks.
* Prepare clear, high-quality risk reporting, dashboards, and presentations for senior stakeholders.
* Support operational resilience, conduct risk, and broader risk uplift activities.
* Contribute to improving and embedding risk processes, frameworks, and training.
What experience you'll bring
You'll bring a mix of technical risk capability and strong stakeholder engagement skills, including:
* 3+ years' experience in risk management, with a relevant tertiary qualification.
* Working knowledge of APRA and ASIC expectations within financial services.
* Experience in general insurance or a similarly regulated environment (desirable).
* A proactive, organised working style with the ability to operate independently within clear direction.
* Strong communication and analytical skills, with experience producing risk reporting and insights.
* Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
