We are happy to partner exclusively with our client which is a well-respected retirement living organisation that delivers well thought out, affordable villages to those looking to downsize.
With a number of sites located in Perth and regional WA, it is their mission to provide West Australians with a model that encompasses luxury amenities, supportive staff, as well as a high level of security so that residents feel right at home.
**DAY TO DAY DUTIES**
This is a dynamic, hands-on position, where you will play a critical role in leading the sales team across multiple villages throughout Western Australia.
- perform all the duties reasonably expected of the role of Sales Manager.
- implement strategy, systems and processes to enable our client to meet its new homes sale targets and existing homes sale targets;
- plan, organise, perform, supervise the sales function across all WA villages
- work closely and cooperatively with the marketing function
- assist the development sales and village management staff as required to formulate the optimal sales performance of the WA-based villages
- manage and provide support, coaching, mentoring and guidance to staff who are required as part of their duties to assist in the above activities
- provide weekly updates to management on the status of the sales pipeline, the status of sales projects underway or planned with respect to the sales function of WA-based villages
- provide strategic input to the group's senior management
**THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE**
- Demonstrated experience in leading sales teams ideally in the retirement sector
- Previous experience in leadership roles
- Ability to mentor and develop teams
- Detailed experience in sales budgeting, sales projections and KPI setting
- Understanding of legislation affecting the retirement sector
- High level of written and verbal communication
- Senior executive team experience highly regarded
