Overview
Tip Top Dry Creek is seeking an application for a Team Leader - Industrial Cleaning to join the team. Reporting to the Hygiene Supervisor, you will lead and manage the hygiene team to maintain sanitation standards for our Dry Creek bakery. This role involves implementing and monitoring hygiene processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Roster
Full-time: Monday-Friday (2:00pm - 10:00pm), early starts on Thursday at 1:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of hygiene operatives, ensuring effective performance and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Lead initiatives to enhance cleaning efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimise costs.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
- Coordinate with production and maintenance departments to integrate cleaning activities.
- Complete routine inspections to ensure compliance with workplace cleanliness standards.
- Prioritise workplace safety and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a team leader in FMCG – required.
- Experience cleaning in FMCG – required 1 year experience.
- Commitment to continuous improvement – identifying and implementing processes.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physically fit, with some heavy lifting required.
