About the role
If you've clicked on the advert, you know what the aim of a residential youth worker is. It's about fostering positive relationships, providing a nurturing and safe home environment, supporting your colleagues and being a role model for young people in care.
There are also the elements of homemaking, administration, crisis management, travel support, organisation and everything else that comes with supporting young people in a home environment.
Responsibilities
* Foster positive relationships with young people in care.

* Handle homemaking, administration, crisis management, travel support and organisational duties as required.
Qualifications
* A preferred Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention qualification, including four (4) mandatory competencies units (Residential Care Skill Set).
* A relevant Cert IV, Diploma or Bachelor including four (4) mandatory competencies units (Residential Care Skill Set).
* Current Working with Children Check.
* Prepared to undergo a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement.
