Job Description:

The Team Lead plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to residents at all times.

This position supports the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in supervising and coordinating care for residents across the home, ensuring individual needs, wishes, and goals are met within an environment where residents feel supported, valued, and treated with dignity and respect.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to advance their careers. The position is open to either Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with relevant qualifications.


Key Responsibilities:

* Provide social and emotional support to all residents, ensuring care provision is holistic and person-centred.
* Support the coordination of care needs of residents across the home, including medication management, nutrition, and hydration, pressure care management.
* Lead/supervise care on the shift, within their designated wing or area.
* Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state, or territory legislation, regulation, and policies and procedures for delegation and supervision.


About You:

* Relevant qualifications: Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with APRHA Registration to administer medication).
* High level of commitment, integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
* Effective communication skills with the ability to listen and communicate at all levels both orally and in writing.
* Ability to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required.
* Current National police check.
* Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
* A desire to work in a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
