Job Description
The IVF Laboratory Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of laboratory activities. This position requires an individual who can provide expert guidance and support to laboratory staff, guaranteeing that procedures are executed safely, accurately, and in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Supervise and lead routine IVF lab activities, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork within the team.
* Develop, review, and refine laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency and compliance.
* Provide training and mentorship to laboratory personnel, enhancing their skills and knowledge base.
* Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate effectively with clinical teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
For this role, we seek an individual with a Master's degree or PhD from an accredited institution, specializing in reproductive biology. A minimum of 5 years' experience in the IVF industry is essential, along with membership of SIRT and strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of reproductive physiology, cell biology, and biochemistry, enabling them to make informed decisions and provide expert guidance to the team.
